The Davies

Tom & Colette's wedding was a big fat, juicy cherry on a lovely month. I'm going to admit that I when I realised the bride was 5ft 1 and the groom 6ft 5 I was a little worried ... alas I needn't have feared! These two were so full of fun all day, and just looked so happy and in love that it was easy to capture the spirit of their big day. 

Kath & Dai's Wedding

Kath was my English teacher in high school, (Miss Lumby - and yes, I did call her that all day)  making this a extra special wedding to shoot). The bride looked beautiful, (as did the groom) along with their two precious little ones, who happen to be two of the most adorable children I've ever met. They had mojitos as their reception drink, the sun shone, the speeches were hilarious and the entire day ran perfectly. 

      

Congratulations Kath ... I'm sorry though - you will always be Miss Lumby to me. j x

The Joneses

David Jones & Kathryn Lumby became 'The Joneses' today. Kath was my English teacher in high school, she helped me get 3 A*s, and played a major part in making my high school experience an enjoyable one, so I owe this lovely lady a lot. More photos to come, in the mean-time I couldn't resist sharing this shot ...

Let it 'Snow' ...

 Beautiful. Wonderful. Magical  ...  and a pain in the butt! 

 

England really isn't equipped for snow, as has been shown this week. A mere six inches has caused chaos the country over. Fortunately it didn't stop me from skidding all the way to Stockport yesterday for James and Rebecca's wedding.    

I had the privilege of photographing Rebecca's sisters wedding, last year, so this really was like meeting up with old friends. She has a wonderfully fabulous family who are so much fun. It was a fantastic wedding which yielded some of my favourite ever wedding photos ... they're to come...
